1. IoT & Hardware Startups - Quality of Life

The last Batch 6, which took place from July 17th to July 31st 2017, we were working with startups in the following fields:

Startups in any stage from ideation to finished prototype are welcome. The program and connections are tailored for each startup individually. Travel costs for foreign startups are partially covered.

  2. Accelerate

    UPLOAD TO HW SITE

For the accelerator program we select teams who we believe that we can accelerate fast. We find it important to select not only those who have amazing products and teams, but also those who add quality to the overall hardware community. Because we neither take equity nor provide money, we are completely neutral in the selection process and choose based on merit of ideas and products solely.

The Hardware.co program is an intensive two-week acceleration. We make sure to pack as much networking, expertise and workshops into these weeks as we possibly can. During the accelerator, selected startups get one-on-one interaction with over 40 mentors and professionals, including investors, lawyers, designers, manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, developers, and product managers. To leverage the network, we also organise open meetup events where startups get to meet with potential stakeholders, and have personal meetings with selected industry partners. When the program is finished, we maintain close contact with the (alumni) startups to ensure they can leverage our extensive online and offline community.

  3. Final day

    SHOW-AND-TELL & BECOMING AN ALUMNI

The accelerator program works towards a Show & Tell event where startups get to showcase their product and value proposition to an audience of potential industry partners, investors, and Hardware.co alumni. Startups often kick off conversations about pilot projects or funding with corporate partners during this event. Connections with manufacturers and fellow alumni startups are made too. For Hardware.co startups, connections and relationships built during the program often form the basis for growing their company.
HARDWARE.co is not just an accelerator program; its a community, and participating startups become a part of that community. They come to create as well as leverage community opportunities and resources, as they grow – the community grows too.
