Are you the next WearHacks Ambassador for Germany?

|

We can’t say enough good things about our collaborators across the ocean – the canadian headquartered WearHacks team.

Wearhacks has been running 3-day hardware hackathons all over the world – bringing together hundreds of engineers, developers, hackers and nerds to hack on some of the most innovative hardware platforms out there. We think their hackathons sound so good we have decided to help bring them to Berlin and Munich this summer, but we need some help.

Sound cool?

Wearhacks is looking for two ambassadors to help them bring their hackathons to Europe. Ambassadors get to work closely with the HARDWARE.co team to make the hackathons a reality – from getting sponsors and a venue to promotion and production of the hackathon. If you dont have prior event experience – thats okay, enthusiasm and commitment are key for this role (and the HARDWARE.co team has planned an event or two in our day).

An ideal WearHacks candidate is Berlin or Munich based and can be available for about 8-12 weeks part-time over the summer to plan the three-day event. Current or recently graduated students that are interested in hardware, software, design or business fields are ideal as well as young professionals who want to expand their networks.

Ambassadors will work directly with the HARDWARE.co organizational team in Berlin or Munich and the WearHacks team in Montreal to:

1) Make a AWESOME event

2) Meet amazing people

3) Facilitate some really cool hardware hacking on Thalmic Labs’ MYO, NOD, MUSE, MbientLabEstimote and many others.

If this sounds like something you might like – drop us a line at HARDWARE.co (teshia@hardware.co) or at Wearhacks (alexandra@wearhacks.com) or cut to the chase and apply directly through their online form.

We look forward to hacking with you!
